Got Gift Cards You Don’t Want?
A variety of gift card trading sites will buy your unwanted gift cards for less than face value and sell unwanted gift cards at a discount. For example, I sold a $20 Build-A-Bear Gift Card to Plastic Jungle and received $15 in exchange. Another time, I bought a $25 gift card to JCPenney for $21.50.WORD OF CAUTION: Although I do not specifically endorse the following sites, I have used them satisfactorily. I do NOT suggest buying or selling gift cards via Craigslist or eBay for a variety of reasons. |

Need a Gift Card App?
I’m a fan of TangoCard for keeping track of the gift cards in my wallet. I especially like being able to check gift card balances easily. When my kids get gift cards, they want to keep them in their wallet. But I worry the cards will get lost or be forgotten. So I enter the card data into Tango Card and everybody is happy. They have the plastic, but I have the tracking.
