Win a Sephora Gift Card for Valentine’s Day
Having never been to Sephora, I planned to dash into the store for a quick preview before posting this Valentine Sephora Gift Card Giveaway.
Instead, I found myself perusing the cosmetic aisles with my eyes all a twinkling. My 4th grade daughter looked just as mesmerized. She ogled neon eye shadows. I tested long-lasting lipsticks. Together, we caught a whiff of Amazing Grace and followed the delicious scent back to the fragrance section.
I haven’t worn perfume since realizing my signature scent masked the new baby smell on this very girl now by my side. We decided that Mom, after nearly a decade, could smell like something other than peanut butter and Lady Speed Stick for a change. I like the smell of Amazing Grace. I love the quote on the packaging even more. So I bought a bottle for me and one to share.
For Valentine’s Day, we’re giving away a $35 gift card to Sephora, a .5 oz. Amazing Grace spray fragrance, and a Sephora compact mirror (their gift card freebie), with one of Brooke’s most popular prints, “Love in red.”
Two ways to enter. (Yes, you can do both and get two entries in the drawing):

Either I’ve been broken up or dumped or cheated on, near or around Valentines Day. I’m glad I didn’t have to put another notch of my Bad Valentines Day belt!
Great Giveway and thanks!
The best Valentine I ever received… Well I SHOULD say an engagement ring ’cause I did get one of those one Valentine’s Day.
But I actually think my high school friends had it right. The student council sold carnations on V-Day and you could buy one and it’d be delivered to anyone in the school. My friends all bought each other carnations, so we all had full bouquets at the end of the day. Makes a person feel loved!
The best Valentine I ever received was… a can of bug spray! My husband was going out of town and we had just moved to this creaky, buggy old house. I’m scared of bugs and it was his way of protecting me. So sweet.

In college most of us were single and some of the guys we hung out with made homemade valentine’s for my girlfriend’s and I. That was pretty special!
Oh and another good one was from a long distance boyfriend. While I was driving in my car on Valentine’s Day he called and told me to check my glove box and there was a Valentine’s card that he had hidden for me the last time he’d come to visit!
“The best Valentine I ever received…”
was an unexpected love letter from my husband written on the back of a bar napkin. He’d been out with friends and in the midst of a football game, so overcome with love for me that he had to pause and write his thoughts down.
I still have it.
Homemade cards from my kids!!!

The best Valentine I ever received was breakfast in bed at sunrise, with Lenten-fast-friendly sweets! I had given up chocolate for Lent (and Lent had started really early that year), but my hubby found all sorts of yummy candy for me that I do not normally eat.

The best Valentine I ever received was an overnight stay at a hotel with my husband. We had small children and hadn’t been able to get out much.
